A gift bestowed by reason of marriage may be revoked only in the following cases:\n(1) If it should be conditional and the condition should not be fulfilled.\n(2) If the marriage should not take place.\n(3) If the person should marry without having obtained the consent in accordance with the provisions of this title.\nHistory —Civil Code, 1930, § 1285.
