If two (2) or more animals should be sold together, whether it be for a lump sum or for a special price for each of them, the redhibitory vice of each one shall only cause the redhibition of the same and not that of the others, unless it appears that the vendee would not have purchased the sound one or ones without the defective animal.\nThis is presumed when a team, yoke, pair, or set is bought, even when a special price has been fixed for each one of the animals composing the same.\nHistory —Civil Code, 1930, § 1380.
