If, on the expiration of the contract, the lessee continues enjoying the thing leased for fifteen (15) days with the acquiescence of the lessor, it shall be understood that there is an implied new lease for the time mentioned in sections 4083 and 4092 of this title unless a notice has previously been given.\nHistory —Civil Code, 1930, § 1456.
