The owner of a game preserve shall be liable for the damage caused by the game to the neighboring estates, should he not have done what may have been necessary to avoid the increase of the same or should he have hindered the efforts of the owners of said estates to hunt.\nHistory —Civil Code, 1930, § 1806.
