Any person who acts by reason of hierarchical obedience in the discharge of public office shall not be held liable, provided that the order lies within the authority of a superior with respect to the subordinate, does not seem unlawful, and the subordinate is compelled to obey it.\nHistory —June 18, 2004, No. 149, § 29, eff.
