Any person who unduly intervenes or without legal authority in the execution of a contract, in a bid process or otherwise in the negotiation of any other procedure of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico for purposes of obtaining benefits or to benefit a third party shall incur a fourth degree felony.\nA third degree felony sentence shall be imposed if the person obtains the benefit pursued.\nThe court may also impose restitution.\nHistory —June 18, 2004, No. 149, § 257, eff.
