It shall be inadmissible as defense in any cause of action for perjury or aggravated perjury that:\n(a) The circumstances under which the oath was made or taken were irregular.\n(b) The fact that the accused did not know the relevance of the false statement he/she made, or that such false statement did not affect the cause of action.
