Any person who alters the enrolled copy of a bill, ordinance or resolution approved by the Legislature, either of its Houses, or any municipal legislature with the purpose of obtaining its passing by the Governor or mayor or certification by the Secretary of State or Municipal Secretary for such act, ordinance or resolution, as the case may be, or for the same to be printed, disclosed by the official publisher of statutes and ordinances in a language other than that in which was passed, approved, signed or promulgated shall incur a fourth degree felony.\nHistory —June 18, 2004, No. 149, § 303, eff.
