A bond shall be executed on condition that if the claimant fails to justify his claim, he shall return the property to the attaching officer, to his successor or the depositary of the property, and shall be liable for any damage or impairment sustained by the same, including total loss. The claimant shall likewise pay any other compensation the court deems fair and reasonable under the specific facts of the case.If the claimant prevails, the bond shall be released.
