The deeds and other documents to which § 1492 of this title refers shall be recorded in the Registries of Puerto Rico free from the fees, taxes, or imposts of whatever nature prescribed by law for the operations effected in those Registries. Such judicial proceedings as it may be necessary or indispensble to prosecute by the Government of the United States or by its agencies or instrumentalities in relation with the proceedings set forth in § 1492 of this title, shall be exempt from payment of all tariff fees required by law.\nHistory —June 22, 1954, No. 81, p. 412, § 2.
