The effect of a judicial record of a State of the Union is the same in Puerto Rico as in the State where it was made, except that it can only be enforced in Puerto Rico by an action or special proceeding, and except, also, that the authority of a guardian or committee, or of an executor or administrator, does not exceed the jurisdiction conferred by the laws under which the said authority was granted.\nHistory —Code Civil Proc., 1933, § 426.
