(a) This chapter shall apply to guardianship proceedings begun on or after its effective date.(b) Sections 2671—2675, and §§ 2677, 2678, 2679, all of this title shall apply to proceedings begun before the effective date, regardless of whether a guardianship or protective order has been issued.
