At the court hearing in cases of divorce, dissolution, or separation of an unmarried couple where a minor is involved, the judge shall:\n(1) Ascertain that counsel for the respective parties have advised them on the different rights, duties, and responsibilities entailed by the various types of custody that exist under the law.\nHistory —Nov. 21, 2011, No. 223, § 5.
