If any of the parties fails to appear before the referees after reasonable notice of the date and place of the hearing, the referees may proceed anyway with the hearing and determination of the dispute in the absence of said party on the basis of the evidence submitted to them.\nHistory —May 8, 1951, No. 376, p. 896, § 13, eff. 90 days after May 8, 1951.
