In any of the following cases the court shall, upon notice and hearing, and on petition of any of the parties, issue an order modifying or correcting the award:\n(a) When there was evident error of calculation as to the number, or evident error in the description of any person, thing, or property.\n(b) When the referees have made a determination on a matter not submitted to them.\n(c) When the award is imperfect as to form, without affecting the merits of the dispute.\nThe order shall modify and correct the award so as to give effect to the intent thereof.\nHistory —May 8, 1951, No. 376, p. 896, § 23, eff. 90 days after May 8, 1951.
