A natural person has the capacity to be a trustor to the extent that he has the capacity to transfer property free of trust inter vivos or mortis causa.A juridical person has the capacity to be a trustor to the extent that it has the capacity by law to transfer the trust property to a particular trust.Government entities authorized by law may hold their own assets in a trust and act as trustees thereof in order to further their purposes through a statement made according to the formalities herein established.
