Upon acceptance of trusteeship, a trustee may resign, upon written notice to the beneficiary and the cotrustees, if any, or with the approval of the court or the consent of all beneficiaries.The court may authorize such resignation insofar as it does not prove detrimental to the administration of the trust, or if compelling him to carry out such duties could prove unreasonably onerous to the trustee.
