The Secretary of Justice shall determine the Registries of Property where it may be necessary to transfer to new books the contents of such deteriorated volumes, the number of registration volumes it may be necessary to rebind, and the number of files of documents that must be bound, and he is hereby empowered to prescribe the manner in which said work shall be carried out in said registries, chargeable to such appropriations as may be made.\nHistory —May 12, 1952, No. 384, p. 760, § 2, eff.
