The Minimum Wage Board is maintained within the Department of Labor and Human Resources as an operational component, under the general direction, supervision, coordination and evaluation of the Secretary. The Governor shall appoint the members of the Board and its Chairperson with the advice and consent of the Senate. The Chairperson of the Board shall answer directly to the Secretary and his/her salary shall be equal to the basic salary of the Undersecretary of the Department.
