The Tourism Company is hereby attached to the Department. The Company shall operate under §§ 671—672d of Title 23. The Governor shall appoint the Executive Director of the Tourism Company with the advice and consent of the Senate, and shall fix his/her salary. The Secretary of Economic Development and Commerce shall be the Chairman of the Company except when the Secretary is also the Executive Director of the Tourism Company.
