(a) The annual salary of the Governor of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico shall be $ 70,000, as of January 2, 1989.(b) The Governor of Puerto Rico in addition shall be entitled to occupy, free from the payment of any rent, the buildings which up to the present have been used by the Chief Executive of Puerto Rico, including all furniture and other movables therein contained.
