The insurance shall be divided into categories, as provided by the Assembly of Delegates through regulations. The amount of the monthly premium for each category shall be fixed annually by the Executive Committee, according to annual actuarial studies, and shall be ratified by the Assembly of Delegates. From these premiums, the percentages determined periodically shall be set aside for the life insurance fund and the insured years of service fund, respectively. Provided, that the first and second categories of $7.00 and $3.50 monthly, for the life insurance and the insured years of service shall be maintained at the member’s option, for those employees who enroll in said insurance prior to the effective date of this section.\nHistory —Apr. 25, 2013, No. 9, § 31.
