Civil, criminal and special proceedings shall be brought by the corresponding prosecutor or advocate pursuant to the general directives from their supervisors and the tasks they have been assigned. In any case, these officials shall cooperate with the Courts of First Instance of Puerto Rico to expedite the processing of these matters.The Secretary or, by delegation, the General Prosecutor or the Director of the Office of Minors’ and Family Affairs, as the case may be, shall designate the parts and sections of the courts of justice in which prosecutors and advocates shall serve.
