The Mental Health and Addiction Services Administration is hereby created, attached to the Department of Health, with its own juridical personality, and power to sue and be sued, and with fiscal and administrative autonomy. This Administration shall be responsible for programs and services related to mental health, drug and alcohol addiction. This chapter shall be known as the 'Mental Health and Addiction Services Administration Act'. History —Aug. 7, 1993, No. 67, § 1, eff. 60 days after Aug. 7, 1993.
