It shall be the duty of the municipal authorities who have charge of local public works, and the officials who have charge of municipal, or vicinal or rural roads, to furnish the Secretary of Transportation and Public Works with all the information that he may require regarding such public works and highways, as may be respectively under their charge and direction.
