Any public or private employee who qualifies for the protection set forth in this chapter shall certify in writing the net income he/she shall receive during active service, and the length of the term of such military service. During said period of military service, the employee shall receive payments on the same dates and with the same frequency as before beginning active service, but in the amount set forth in § 714a of this title.
