Every person who is receiving a pension or benefit under §§ 233–246 of Title 4, shall be entitled to receive a Summer Bonus equal to one hundred dollars ($100), which shall be paid not later than July 15 of each year. If there were more than one beneficiary entitled to a pension upon the death of the active or retired participant, the Bonus shall be distributed, pro rata, among all the beneficiaries. The participants of the Judiciary Retirement System of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico shall be excluded from the Summer Bonus benefit granted under this section.
