Beginning on July 1, 2013, every employer shall mandatorily contribute to the System a sum equal to twelve point two hundred and seventy-five percent (12.275%) of the contribution of every Program participant while the participant is an employee. These contributions shall be deposited in the System in order to increase its level of assets, reduce its actuarial deficit, and improve its capacity to meet future obligations.
