Any act or part thereof contravening this chapter is hereby repealed. This chapter does not have the purpose of repealing the diverse acts cited in § 762 of this title. Inasmuch as these acts are not in contention with the provisions of this chapter, and up to the point that they are applicable with respect to the vested rights and benefits payable under the said acts, these shall continue in effect after the effective date of this Act.
