It is hereby provided that the payment of the pension or retirement annuity received by any person from the Government of Puerto Rico or from any of the agencies or instrumentalities thereof, or from any retirement or pension fund created under the laws of Puerto Rico, or hereafter created, shall be suspended at the time said person passes to hold a remunerative office or position in the Government of Puerto Rico or in any of the agencies, instrumentalities or political subdivisions thereof, or as soon as said person begins to receive remuneration for services rendered to the Government of Puerto Rico or to any of the agencies, instrumentalities or political subdivisions thereof. History —May 2, 1952, No. 187, p. 390, § 1, eff. 90 days after May 2, 1952.
