With the exception of those employees who became members of the Employees Retirement System of the Government of Puerto Rico under the provisions of Act No. 210 of May 8, 1952, every employee who, on the date this act takes effect, has availed himself of the benefits of a retirement system other than the one favored by his employer, shall cease as a participant of the retirement system administered by his present employer. History —June 10, 1953, No. 59, p. 154, § 9, renumbered as § 6 on May 30, 1969, No. 17, p. 28, eff. July 1, 1969.
