The employees of the Agricultural Extension Service of the University of Puerto Rico, covered by the Government of Puerto Rico pension plan who may hereafter acquire the right to avail themselves of the federal government pension plan, may waive the former of said plans and avail themselves of the federal government plan; and in order to be able to waive connection with the Government of Puerto Rico pension plan or the pension plan of any Commonwealth Government agency or instrumentality of the University of Puerto Rico, it shall be an indispensable requisite to have filed prior to said waiver the proper application for admission to the federal government pension plan and to have been duly accepted.
