The administrative direction of the Historical Archive shall be the responsibility of an Executive Director, who shall be appointed by consensus between the Presiding Officers of both Legislative Houses, and discharge such office for a term of ten (10) years. The person to be designated as the Executive Director shall have sound knowledge of the operations of the Legislative Assembly, as well as graduate studies in History, the Humanities, Social Science, Political Science, or Library Science, or related fields, or in default thereof, a combination of studies and four (4) years of combined experience in such areas. Likewise, he/she may meet studies and experience requirements if he/she has published works to his/her credit pertaining to the legislative endeavor or held administrative or legislative offices in the Legislative Assembly.
