The personnel of the Commission shall be excluded from the provisions of Act No. 5 of October 14, 1975, known as the 'Puerto Rico Public Service Personnel Act'. However, the Chairperson of the Commission must approve Personnel Regulations which establish the merit principle set forth in said act, a Classification and Remuneration Plan, and Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures Regulations applicable to the Commission personnel. The employees of the Commission shall enjoy all the benefits granted to public employees, with the exception of those expressly excluded by law. History —Feb. 25, 1998, No. 45, § 11.10.
