Those employees who are part of a unit suited for collective bargaining purposes which is duly certified by the Commission and who choose not to become affiliated or to be represented by the duly certified labor organization, may request to be excluded from the same by submitting a notice to that effect to the head of the agency with copy thereof to the exclusive representative, within thirty (30) days following the certification notice of the exclusive representative.\nHistory —Feb. 25, 1998, No. 45, added as § 17.1 on Aug. 7, 2001, No. 96, § 10.
