The contents of the register shall be limited to all those persons deemed ineligible for public service in the Government of Puerto Rico for having been convicted of any of the felonies or misdemeanors listed in §§ 1491—1494 of this title, during the exercise of a public function within the jurisdiction of Puerto Rico, the federal jurisdiction or in any of the states of the United States of America.\nThis chapter shall likewise apply to those persons who, even if they are not holding public office when they have committed any of the crimes of corruption listed in §§ 1491—1494 of this title, have been convicted as accomplices of public officials in the commission of said crime.\nHistory —Sept. 7, 1997, No. 119, § 3.
