Once the Director of the Personnel Administration Central Office verifies that the person convicted of corruption under §§ 1491—1494 of this title, has been made legally competent, the Superintendent of Police shall be bound to eliminate from the Register of Persons Convicted of Corruption all the information concerning the corruption conviction of said person. The agencies and municipalities of the Government of Puerto Rico shall be responsible for verifying, through the Police of Puerto Rico, whether the persons convicted of corruption under §§ 1491—1494 of this title, have been made competent, and thus, eliminated from the Register of Persons Convicted of Corruption, before the aspirant enters or the person made competent reenters the public service.\nHistory —Sept. 7, 1997, No. 119, § 7.
