The reorganization plan or plans may not provide for and the reorganization adopted under this chapter may not have the effect of:\n(1) Prolonging the term or existence of an agency beyond the term authorized by law or beyond the term in which it would have ceased if the reorganization had not been made;\n(2) prolonging any function beyond the period prescribed by law therefor, or beyond the date on which it would have ceased if the reorganization had not been made;\n(3) extending the term fixed by law for any position.\nHistory —May 30, 1976, No. 71, p. 211, § 11.
