Within a year from the effectiveness of this act, each body of the Legislative Branch and the Judicial Branch, as well as the Office of the Comptroller, the Office of the Ombudsman, and any office or dependency attached to the legislative bodies, shall approve a code of ethics for contractors, suppliers of goods and services, or amendments to the regulations in effect, to incorporate the principles enunciated herein, to protect the public interest, and pursuant to the public policy of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico adopted hereby.\nHistory —June 18, 2002, No. 84, § 10.
