(a) Every candidate certified by the Commonwealth Election Commission to an elective office in the general or a special election must complete a 7.5 hours course on ethics offered by the Office.(b) Any person nominated by the Governor to hold an office or job position that requires confirmation by the Senate or the Legislative Assembly must complete a 7.5 hours course on ethics offered by the Office.(c) Such courses must be taken within thirty (30) days after the nomination or certification.
