In order to reduce to a minimum the activities to request donations in the public employees workplace the Regulations Council, with the approval of the Governor of Puerto Rico and after an agreement to such effects, may delegate the administration of the Public Employees Charitable Campaign to a designated entity to coordinate all the information work in the agencies and to act as intermediary for the distribution and remitting of the funds collected by virtue of this chapter. In such case, the designated entity must exercise the delegated responsibility pursuant to the regulations adopted by the Council and must comply with the requirements established in § 2059 of this title in addition to any others that may be established by regulations.\nHistory —Aug. 11, 1988, No. 168, § 8, eff.
