For purposes of this chapter, these terms shall have the following meanings:\n(a) Access. — [Means] the capability and ability to use and receive data and operate technological assistance equipment.\n(b) Disabled person. — [Means] any person who, due to a physical or mental condition, requires technological assistance to expedite their transactions in different entities.\n(c) Entity. — [Means] agencies, departments, subdivisions, instrumentalities and public corporations of the Government of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, including its municipalities.\n(d) Technological assistance. — [Means] any type of equipment or service used to increase, maintain or improve the functional capacity of disabled persons.\n(e) Technological assistance equipment. — [Means] any type of equipment, object, computer program or product acquired to increase, maintain or improve the functional capabilities of disabled persons.\n(f) Information. — [Means] any previously digitalized data or documentation, or interactive service for the citizenry offered electronically by the entities through their Internet web pages.\n(g) Puerto Rico Technological Assistance Program.
