Candidates to hold any position established under §§ 260 et seq. of Title 18, regarding teacher certification, and the regulations adopted thereunder, shall pass an examination to qualify to be teachers. The Secretary shall promulgate the standards to govern the preparation and proctoring of these examinations. The scores obtained therein shall be taken into account in assigning turns in the eligible candidate roster. History —July 15, 1999, No. 149, § 4.05.
