The school psychologists shall provide direct support and services to both the teaching staff as well as directly to the students. They shall evaluate the academic area (progress and knowledge), and the intellectual and emotional areas. In addition, they shall draft a student profile, of both their limitations as well as their strengths for the purpose of helping the teacher to use strategies that will help the student in the learning process. Shall [sic] counsel teachers in the search of options and shall enable the needed adjustments in benefit of the students.He/she shall identify the students possible problems, intercede and, if necessary, refer the case to other health professionals.
