The Department of Natural and Environmental Resources shall perform an appraisal of private properties to comply with the legal provisions for the payment of fair compensation to the owners of the real property. Said eminent domain shall be carried out pursuant to the provisions set forth in §§ 191 et seq. of this title, known as the Puerto Rico Forests Act, and §§ 2901–2913 of Title 32, part of the Eminent Domain Act.
