The gradual increase of lands adjoining creeks, streams, rivers, and lakes caused by accretion or detritus shall belong to the riparian owners. Mineral sediments which are to be used as such must be applied for in accordance with the provisions of the mining laws. History —Law of Waters, art. 47.
