A compulsory aqueduct servitude may be imposed for the conveyance of waters intended for public service not requiring the condemnation of lands. It is the duty of the Colonial Secretary to decree the servitude in works in charge of the State, and of the governor of the Province in provincial and municipal works, in accordance with the procedure prescribed in the regulations.
