The Program shall include among its functions:(1) Compile, organize and share information on the technology and procedures that may reduce or eliminate the generation of hazardous waste.(2) Request the Evaluating Boards of the Engineers and Surveyors Association and of the Chemists Association and acknowledged specialists in Environmental Health and/or any other body that groups and regulates professionals in this field, that the Board may deem necessary, to obtain recommendations from bona fide and experienced consultants in technologies and procedures to eliminate or reduce hazardous waste. The Evaluating Boards, together with the Environmental Quality Board and the Solid Waste Authority shall develop guidelines to evaluate the qualifications of bona fide professionals in this field. Once these guidelines have been developed and approved, the Evaluating Boards shall submit to the Environmental Quality Board and the Solid Waste Authority a list of evaluated and qualified consultants.
