The Permit Management Office, in coordination with the Environmental Quality Board and the Solid Waste Management Administration of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, is hereby empowered to adopt, by regulations, the provisions regarding the measurements of the area to be designated, taking into consideration the number of housing units to be built, as well as the estimated number of residents per housing unit, and the total number of persons in the construction project. The construction plans shall also contain the area designated for the recovery of recyclable material as an indispensable condition for the granting of the construction permits. Likewise, the construction permit shall be conditioned to the compliance of the provisions of the last paragraph of § 1324d of this title, in the construction plan. History —May 10, 2002, No. 61, § 5.
