For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the meaning stated below:\n(1) Environmental Quality Board.— Means the government entity on which the implementation of the public policy for the protection of the Puerto Rican environment and that of the islands within its jurisdiction is delegated.\n(2) Refrigerants.— Means any chemical compound that contains chlorofluorocarbons (CFC’s), hydroflourinecarbons, halogens, tetrachlorocarbons, dichlorodifluoro- methane, trichlorofluoromethane, monochlorpentafluoromethane and any other substance, chemical or organic compound of any nature or brand that has a reducing effect on the ozone layer.\n(3) Refrigeration and air conditioning technicians.— Means any person licensed to practice the profession of refrigeration and air conditioning technician in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico pursuant to §§ 2051 et seq. of Title 20, and associated with all dues paid up to date.\nHistory —Aug. 5, 1993, No. 53, § 1.
